Toon Ken End of Season Report
Some statistics: - 252 fish caught for 8 weeks - Average fish per rod per day: 1.36 compare to 0.94 in 2008. - Average weight: 8lb - Biggest fish for the season: 24b The water level has been very good at the beginning and for most of the season. We caught a good number of nice fresh fish and the number and average fish per rod per day was much better this season. Every single week of the season has been better in terms of number and average catch per rod. During the most part of the season, rubber legs nymphs and bug were the most efficient flies used on a floating line or floating line with intermediate tip or slow sinking tip. We had very good fishing using leeches of course in high water and cold water and during the “magic hour”, before dark at the beginning and end of the season.
