The Apprentices’... Your Fired....! A Lighthearted Report From Panama!

We received a funny text this week, from Angling Direct Holidays regulars Roy Stace and Richard Larter, who are currently enjoying the fishing in Panama. Now before they left I had to help the good old boys out and lend them my tackle, joking that all they were missing was my underpants! So as I laugh I obliged and ‘customised’ a pair of my old Y fronts, and managed to get them in to their case!

After 3 days fishing I received this text:

Liking the pants Pete, they must be lucky! Fishing out here is crazy, I have never caught fish, which fight with so much aggression and power! We’ve had loads of Tuna to 250lb and Sails to 140lb, it really has been unreal! However, we do have a problem now! We have broken the three rods you lent us to fish with! Two fighting large Tuna and the other fighting a snapper whilst popper fishing!

Now I had to laugh at this, as the two apprentice’s as they are known, obviously need a bit more help on how to play fish! Breaking 3 rods… in the words of Alan sugar, Roy & Dick, you are Fired!!!!!
