Simon Conroy in Florida Part 5

Simons last day and where by most customers would be gagging to drain every last minute out of the fishing time available, me and Simon fish for a total of 2 hours in a very relaxed manor.

But it does not matter how long you fish, for 2 hours in the right place with the right guide and right methods is far better than a charter basically chasing all over the place in the hope that the guide stumbles on some fish.

The proof in the pudding (That has to be a Yorkshire one as being a Yorkshire man) in 2 hours from door to door we go out straight to the fish. Simon drifts a crab at the back of the boat, gets a take immediately then plays the fish for around one hour and twenty minutes, resulting in a new personal best Tarpon of 155lb, before returning the boat back to the house in time for a quick shower and a few beers down Woody’s bar.

Now is that what you call fishing? Well Simon does.

I have guided Simon on several trips around the world and I can honestly say Simon you are one of the most pleasurable gentleman I get to fish for (Might have something to do with that I don’t have to work to hard) only kidding, its been a pleasure and look forward in seeing you again in Panama latter this year
