Sea Of Cortez Dreams Mexico Report & Pictures From The Morrison Family!

blog story: Sea Of Cortez Dreams Mexico Report & Pictures From The Morrison Family!
It is times like this that the job we do feels very very rewarding; below you will find a few words from Mandy who has just returned from our Sea of Cortez Dreams holiday in Mexico.

Mandy first contact me back in March this year, the challenge was to recommend a great place for 4 people, some as anglers and also for non anglers but would like some days out on a boat. It was to be a completely new experience for them all for no one had ever experienced Big Game fishing before.

Not only did we have to find something suitable we had to work with Mandy as the whole trip was to be a special birthday surprise for her husband. The good news was we all managed to pull the trip off, and Mandy’s husband still had no clue where he was going until the boarded the plane. Just imagine his face when he found out what was in store.

Well done Mandy for managing to keep things so secretive right to the end. Anyhow below are Mandy’s words and just a couple of quick holiday snaps….

We had an amazing time thank you. We managed to keep the full destination a surprise until we were on the plane to San Jose. The hotel was brilliant; the rooms lovely and with a super view out to sea. The food was excellent and we ate our catch each day, I don't think it could have been any better. We met some fabulous fellow fishermen, mostly American, who were fairly experienced and offered plenty of advice to us novices. First day we caught 15 tuna and an amberjack by about 11.30 and had run out of bait. 2nd day we caught some Rooster fish and a good catch of Snappers. 3rd day we only had a couple of Tuna and a White Bonito. We booked an extra day and the guys caught 2 Dorado and lots of Skip Jack Tuna. The pool was an amazing place to end the day round the bar swapping fishing tales. One party did catch a massive Marlin which was displayed on the gantry.

Thank you for the advice on destination it certainly didn't disappoint in any way.

I will email across a couple of pictures my son took.

Regards Morrison Family
