Paradise By Name, Paradise By Nature...The Paradise Lodge In Panama Lives Up To Its Name! The fishing there at the moment is nothing short of spectacular! Here's a few words and some really nice pictures...

This week here in paradise the fishing continued to be very good. Popper fishing around Coiba was off the hook for big roosters and Cubera snapper. We also caught a few Huge yellowfin tuna and some nice Sailfish. Jigging was also very productive. Chicho managed to find a bunch of tarpon on the back side of coiba, they had a few hits before hooking into a huge tarpon on a very small jig with a very light rod. After more than 3 hours fighting and having the fish to leader several times the hook straitend and the fish got away before getting any good photos. Chicho says it was bigger that 150lb!
