Panama Group Trip Update - The Good Fishing Continues!
The Penultimate day in Panama saw everyone get amongst the fish once again. Sir Roger fished with myself today and managed numerous Cubara’s, the biggest of these going 60lb. We also managed Jacks to 25lb, 2 sharks topping the magical 100lb barrier and some nice sized Grouper. On the Marlin front, we weren’t let down, with our excellent run continuing. Rich had a fantastic Blue Marlin of 250lb and Brian managed a Black Marlin estimated at just over 300lb. We even had a surpise capture within the group as Tim landed a Hammerhead shark of 100lb.
The last day of a fantastic week, didn’t let us down, once again the group got in to Marlin, with Carl landing a Blue Marlin of 300lb, and Brian doing battle with one monster of over 350lb. Today also produced loads of Tuna the biggest going around 70lb, all caught on classic poppers. Rooster fish even made an appearance with Tim landing the biggest of these, with one nudging the 60lb mark. All in all its been a fantastic week with some fantastic people. Fingers crossed for more of the same for the coming weeks.
