Tromso/ Langsundet is just 45km north of Norway’s largest city, Tromso which is home to 66’000 people, Tromso is often referred to as ‘Paris of the North’ with its many bars, restaurants and outdoor cafes. This destination is what we like to call weather proof and ideally suited to those who are looking for fishing experience, but have a tendency to suffer from sea ‘sickness’. This destination, however, also offers some of the best Halibut fishing available, with the average size being a massive 20-30kg! Large Cod up to 20kg are also caught, as well as specimen sized Plaice. You may even be lucky enough to hook into a Monkfish, Starry Ray or Spotted Catfish!
