Tromso Halibut
Tromso / Langsund sea fishing Norway
Tromso/ Langsundet is just 45km north of Norway’s largest city, Tromso which is home to 66’000 people, Tromso is often referred to as ‘Paris of the North’ with its many bars, restaurants and outdoor cafes. This destination is what we like to call weather proof and ideally suited to those who are looking for fishing experience, but have a tendency to suffer from sea ‘sickness’. This destination, however, also offers some of the best Halibut fishing available, with the average size being a massive 20-30kg! Large Cod up to 20kg are also caught, as well as specimen sized Plaice. You may even be lucky enough to hook into a Monkfish, Starry Ray or Spotted Catfish!

Panama Group Trip Report Day One With Dave Plummer

news story: Panama Group Trip Report Day One With Dave Plummer
The first few days of fishing has been very productive with everyone getting amongst the numerous Cubara Snapper and Amberjacks to around 30-40lb, these provide excellent sport on the right tackle. As well as this we have hooked Tuna to 60lb. The highlight so far was Tim Howe Aka ‘Bob Marley’ who hooked and landed a wonderful Marlin of 450lb, Carl Shubert also got in on the action landing one around the 250lb mark. So all in all a good start to the week, fingers crossed it continues.

Regards Dave Plummer.
