As the name suggests, this is a twin centre holiday, first starting at the wonderful Palmas De Cortez, in the idyllic area of Los Barilles, before moving down to the popular resort of Los Cabo's. Palmas De Cortez is a place of dreams! The Hotel is situated on a sandy beach with miles of untouched white sand, the best in Baja, for swimming, snorkelling and diving. The hotel is also a first-class fishing resort that offers the entire package, with over 50 air-conditioned rooms, all with spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez, plus deluxe suites and two bedroom/two bath condos plus a spectacular seaside dining room that includes three meals a day.

This amazing resort has become known worldwide as one of the premier vacation and big-game fishing spots in the world, consistently producing huge numbers of blue, black and striped Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado, Wahoo, Yellow Fin Tuna and Roosterfish. Each day if you are going fishing you will set off after breakfast with your captain and crew, on your own boat, for 8 hours big game fishing. When you are ready to book your holiday, our consultants will take down all particulars and take a deposit payment, please make sure that before making any booking that you have read our terms and conditions. At the time of the booking we will ask you to correctly spell the first and last name of each traveling member, as some flights will need to be ticketed at the time of booking and due to airline regulations no name changes can be made, once a ticket has been issued. On receipt of the deposit we will send the lead booker a “Booking Form” and a deposit receipt invoice which becomes the legal contract between Angling Direct Holidays and your party.

Note: Standard trolling tackle can be rented from the fishing office within the hotel at a minimum cost of $10 pp per day. You can provide and use your own tackle. This will be required if you wish to shore fish, Fly Fish or use stand up trolling equipment. All super sports boats are fitted with fighting chairs and all boats provide butt pads,light fighting harnesses and all required trolling lures, hooks etc.

Trolling

1. 30lb to 50lb stand up rods for Marlin Fishing, coupled with strong multipliers capable of holding 30 to 50lb mono minimum 400 yards.
2. 12lb to 20lb stand up boat rod and reel for Sailfish 25Lb mono.

Fly fishing

1. 8 weight saltwater fly rod and reel with 8 to 9 weight shooting line. For shore fishing and light boat fishing
2. 12 weight salt water fly rod and reel with 12 weight shooting line. For Sailfish, Marlin and Tuna fishing.
3. Selection of Tarpon / Sailfish style flies, (poppers)
4. Selection of fly tippets, If you wish to fish for line class records check the current line classes available.

Shore Fishing

1. 6 to 9 ft light spinning rod, coupled with fixed spool reel of 20lb mono. Reel needs to hold a minimum of 250 yards for those large Roosterfish.
2. Selection of sinking lures, floater divers from 2 to 6 inches.
