Guatemala, meaning land of trees, is a heavily forested and mountainous nation and the most populous in Central America. This country over the last five years, has produced an incredible number of hits and tagged fish that if compared to the other more famous Sailfish destinations, would put it at the top of the world. It currently holds the record for the most Sailfish caught in one day, a staggering 76 fish caught by four anglers on one boat.
