At the very end of the Baja Peninsula, you will find a place that has all of the right elements for a great fishing adventure. There are Sailfish, Black and Blue Marlin, Dorado, Yellowtail, Wahoo and after a hard day of fishing, relaxing in the hotel bar and pool room, and telling fishy stories, the only problem will be trying to get to bed at a decent hour, so you can go fishing the next morning. Baja also offers excellent dining, exceptional golf, and a host of other activities to choose from. Chances are that you will go home from Cabo needing another holiday!

Fly fishing and surf fishing with your own gear beckons and is excellent. Our pioneering catch-and release program is a model for conservationists, and you can preserve your big-fish memories with photos, special "release" pins, and the finest fiberglass wall mounts available. In addition to its own 3200 foot hardpack runway, Palmas de Cortez is close to two international airports, with hotel ground transportation at bargain rates.With all this and the addition of our new pool and swim-up palapa bar you are sure to have the time of your life.

Hotel facilities include, large external pool, jacuzzi, tennis,racquetball, massage therapy and exercise machines, internal bar, pool tables, and swim up external bar. This hotel ouses fishing, just walk around in the evening and that is all everyone talks about. Just simply one fantastic place for the whole family.

Horseback riding - $15 per hour.
Sea Kayaks with rod holders - $10 per hour.
ATV rentals - $20 per hour, $50 for 3 hours, or $60 for 4 hours.
Jet Ski rentals - $40 1/2 hour, $70 per hour.*

All day tours are available to include all day tour of La Paz, Cabo San Lucas or Cabo Pulmo/Los Frailes - $160 round trip for 1-5 people, each additional = $20.

SPA DELFIN Spa Delfin offers a tropical spa experience with a range of therapeutic and beauty-enhancing treatments. Spa Delfin in located on the property of Palmas De Cortez. Here is a list of a few of the treatments offered at Spa Delfin:

When you are ready to book your holiday, our consultants will take down all particulars and take a deposit payment, please make sure that before making any booking that you have read our terms and conditions. At the time of the booking we will ask you to correctly spell the first and last name of each traveling member, as some flights will need to be ticketed at the time of booking and due to airline regulations no name changes can be made, once a ticket has been issued. On receipt of the deposit we will send the lead booker a “Booking Form” and a deposit receipt invoice which becomes the legal contract between Angling Direct Holidays and your party.

Note: Standard trolling tackle can be rented from the fishing office within the hotel at a minimum cost of $10 pp per day. You can provide and use your own tackle. This will be required if you wish to shore fish, Fly Fish or use stand up trolling equipment. All super sports boats are fitted with fighting chairs and all boats provide butt pads,light fighting harnesses and all required trolling lures, hooks etc.

Trolling

1. 30lb to 50lb stand up rods for Marlin Fishing, coupled with strong multipliers capable of holding 30 to 50lb mono minimum 400 yards.
2. 12lb to 20lb stand up boat rod and reel for Sailfish 25Lb mono.

Fly fishing

1. 8 weight saltwater fly rod and reel with 8 to 9 weight shooting line. For shore fishing and light boat fishing
2. 12 weight salt water fly rod and reel with 12 weight shooting line. For Sailfish, Marlin and Tuna fishing.
3. Selection of Tarpon / Sailfish style flies, (poppers)
4. Selection of fly tippets, If you wish to fish for line class records check the current line classes available.

Shore Fishing

1. 6 to 9 ft light spinning rod, coupled with fixed spool reel of 20lb mono. Reel needs to hold a minimum of 250 yards for those large Roosterfish.
2. Selection of sinking lures, floater divers from 2 to 6 inches.
