After Darren 'Breg' Bremners excellent Florida blog last week, where we were spoilt with daily fishing reports and some excellent pictures, we weren't sure if we would be able to do the same this week, but thanks to Danny Ashley-Gordon we'll still be able to update you all! Danny is currently out in Florida with Dave and kindly sent us a few words and some nice pictures of how he and his friends fished on there first day or two!
Sunday night was our first time on the Florida keys and i must say what an memorable experiance it was! After fishing away for an hour or so the session was cut short after a huge water spout sprung up in the distance! I have attached some pictures of this impressive act by mother nature! I must say though I was pretty glad to get back home!
Monday morning, and we were back out on the water once again, this time without incident! We had two excellent Tarpon takes but unfortunately missed them both as the fish acrobatically jumped clear of the water. We did however land a number of nice Sharks, with black tips up to 100lb.
Fingers crossed we should have a good day tommorrow as there was Tarpon showing everywhere!
