Lyngen Sea Fishing Norway

overview
At 70° north where Norway stretches of towards east, you will find Nord-Lenangen which is located North-West on Lyngen Peninsula. The mighty and beautiful Lyngsalps encircles this small countryside that winds along the edge of the fjord axis.

This typical Norwegian fishing town was mainly built up on shrimp fishing which dates back to the 1950's. Here you will find old and long lasting traditions in the field of fishing.

Lungstuva is a place where Lyngenfjord and Ullsfjord meet. This results in a special sea current that provides the area with a great variety of fish, which makes this place a popular spot to fish for Cod and Huge Halibut and would like to enjoy deep sea fishing at its best. The experience of fishing in the fjord right underneath the mountains only a short boat ride from our accommodation in the Lyngstadtland is grand. You are practically fishing with the mountains hanging right above you.

We are pleased to have teamed up with our Norwegian partners to be able to now offer 5 beautiful cabins built right on the waters edge with 9 aluminum boats, 5.75 m long with 50 hp motors. All the boats have GPS chart plotter with sonar, making sure that you get right on top of the fish and in to the action. Species that are common here are Cod, Pollack, Haddock and Halibut along with many others. What’s more if this is your first visit to Norway why don’t you hire one of our fishing guides for the first day, to show you the boats, equipments and of course hot fishing marks.

What makes Lyngen different is not only its location, but it is also very welcoming to non anglers wishing to join you on your fishing trip. We have lots of non angling activities available to rent for example, bikes, canoes, hiking trails, walking tours, sauna and spa baths, enough to keep even the most active nature lovers busy.
