Latest Fishing Report From Belize - El Pescador!

blog story: Latest Fishing Report From Belize - El Pescador!
The winds really put the brakes on tarpon but that didn't bother our guest Ken M. who landed 7 permit his first day out! Ken, who was visiting for the first time, despite the weather, managed to land 7 permit his first day, followed by at least one each day for the next 4 days. He accounted for every permit landed this week. His guide Emir had a streak going of 6 days in a row with permit to his boat!

Our other guests, the Martin family returned with everyone catching bones with a few tarpon hooked. Reid, the youngest of the family, took on the challenge of catching a bonefish on a fly with a hand line with no rod at all. Fishing from the dock in front of the lodge, it took him 45 minutes! “Get my Dad!, Get my Dad!” could be heard around the island! The next day he saw a permit but to no avail... Next year Reid!

Keep following the blog, to get up to date information on the fishing reports from all our destinations!
