Last Day Today, Will The Back Country Produce...? Find Out In Dave's Florida Report
Last day today, and we made it to the back country, after 3 days of strong winds and unsettled weather it was nice to fish a couple of days in nice calm settled conditions. The fishing didn’t disappoint either.
We landed loads of Snapper and Lady Fish on the jig rods, we also had around a dozen takes on the live mullet, which produced six sharks all of which were close to the 200lb mark, the biggest of these was a Lemon Shark, which was probably just over 200lb. As well as Lemon Sharks we also landed Black Tips and Nurse Sharks. Another cracking week in fishing paradise, with another set of great customers, I hope to see them again soon.
Got a couple of days off now, not for rest, but some more fishing! Got my good friend Darren Bremner coming down for a couple of days fishing Saturday and Sunday, so will let you know how we get on. With the Shark fishing so productive at the moment, fingers crossed we will land some biggies, over the two days he is her.
Cheers Dave
