Kenya
Kenya, the greatest wildlife show in the world, with some of Africa’s most magnificent wildlife, scenery and finest beaches; no wonder it’s regarded by many as the ‘Jewel of East Africa.’
Most visitors to Kenya want to experience the country’s world famous wildlife but there are many different ways to experience the Kenyan wilderness. Whether you want to drive by a pride of lions in a four wheel drive, walk through herds of game or watch elephants from the comfortable veranda of a safari lodge, the possibilities are endless. All this offers massive excitement and stimulation for parents and children all in one location! For you decide how much adventure or relaxation or both, you wish to do. The Kenyan coast is lined with pristine white sand beaches fringing the warm inviting waters of the Indian Ocean. Here the wilderness meets the sea and the ocean itself holds a world of spectacular coral reefs teeming with life and colour. It’s this life and colour that attracts both divers and anglers alike, for here around this coast line are some of the richest seas, just bursting with multicoloured small fish and of course the larger fish predators who are as equal to sea as is the mighty Lion to the Kenyan wilderness. This is an ideal venue for your first big-game fishing trip, owing to the diverse nature of the Indian Ocean, which offers some of the finest deep sea fishing in the world with a huge variety of different species close to shore. There is simply no shortage of exciting and adventurous fishing spots to be found, for the Watamu area boasts a large number of fishing grounds of widely differing nature, all within a short steam of port. These include oceanic tidal rips, shallow bands, and undersea mountains. It is therefore possible to fish a number of different fishing grounds in one days fishing; maximising ones chances of success. All in all whatever you wish to do in Kenya there’s the chance to experience it all.
