Bair's Lodge Fishing Report

02 May 13

The fishing in February on South Andros is a little like the weather…up and down. February is a transition month from winter-type weather patterns to spring-type weather patterns. During February, South Andros will experience alternating days of low winds and bright skies to higher winds and overcast skies. By the end of February we have more nice days than blustery days.

India & Asia

3 countries are available in India & Asia
  • Andaman Islands

A Lush Paradise with Virginal Fishing the group of Islands called the Andaman Islands.

The Andaman Islands are located in the Bay of Bengal, these islands are a splendid tropical outpost, belonging to India but closer to south east Asia. From being known as ‘Kalapani’ (Black waters) due to the history of the British Regime in India, to being now more commonly known as one of the best tourist destinations of India, Andaman Islands have come a long way.
  • India

India holds virtually every kind of landscape imaginable and that you could possibly desire.

An abundance of mountain ranges and national parks provide ample opportunity for eco-tourism and trekking, and its sheer size promises something for everyone. The landscape is dominated by numerous rivers which makes it an ideal place for a fishing tour. The Central Himalayan region in the Garhwal and Kumaon hills considered ideal for fishing in India is probably one of the last refuges of truly wild Mahseer fish. The only other area in southern India, a perfect destination for fishing is River Cauvery.
  • Thailand

The Kingdom of Thailand is Southeast Asia's premiere destination with over 14 million visitors per year.

Thailand comprises 76 provinces each divided into districts, sub-districts and villages. Bangkok is the capital city and centre of political, commercial, industrial and cultural activities. For those seeking pure relaxation, Thailand’s coastline islands destinations are teeming with natural attractions including white sandy beaches; fascinating coral reefs and numerous verdant forests with caves and waterfalls. At these stunning locations you will find activities to suit everyone from swimming, snorkelling diving, fishing etc, or, alternatively, just doing what Thailand is equally famous for, relaxing.
