Very pleased to report another great day's fishing on the Skeena, the first day for a group of 7 fishermen from the UK. Everyone hooked a lot of fish.
My group had one triple header and one quadruple - amazing fishing!! Tony Fairclough, a trout fisherman, hooked 13 fish for his first day ever on a salmon trip. He was almost spooled by 2 fish and was into his backing in seconds. In the end Tony landed a nice Steelhead and several salmon. Tony is already asking about coming back next year after his first day.
Angling Direct pro Staff Phil Barker was into around 20 fish and even snapped a hook on a big silver fish.
The second group of fishermen landed Coho, Steelhead and pinks.
They also saw a wolf on the edge of the river which is a very rare sight.
Will send you another report soon.
Best Regards Andrew (Head Guide)
