Doesn't Time Fly When You're Having Fun...!

Well I can’t believe the first group have been and gone and that we are now two weeks into the trip! Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun…! The first group departed Saturday, so they had there last days fishing on the Friday and of course they left on a high! Bill Rolfe who had already landed the biggest fish of the trip, was at it again, this time landing a cracking Mahseer of 44lb. What a way to sign off!

As soon as the first group left, the second group arrived and were keen and eager to start fishing, and they didn’t have to wait long for some action. Colin Belton, a regular customer with us, and familiar with fishing on the Cauvery, was in to fish, on only his second cast he landed a stunning 20lb golden Mahseer, making it the second one of the trip so far. The sight of this fish sent a buzz of excitement through the group and everyone fished hard, with plenty more mid doubles falling to the new group of anglers.

An excellent start on the third weeks fishing…
