Dave Plummers Group Trip To Panama Is Now Well Underway!

blog story: Dave Plummers Group Trip To Panama Is Now Well Underway!
Dave Plummers Group Trip to Panama Is Now Well Underway, in fact it's gone that quickly it's almost over! But what a great week it's been so far, we've received a few pictures and Dave's daily report's so we thought we'd share them with you in the form of a blog!

The first day, was good with everyone settled in nicely, the fishing was productive and got everyone into the swing on things, we managed 6 Tuna to 180lb, as well as the usual Cubara Snappers, Wahoo and Rooster fish etc. This turned out to be a great warm up for day two, as everyone got a real work out! The fishing was spectacular, probably one of the greatest days Tuna fishing I can remember, with the group landing 15 Tuna to 250lb! All the fish were caught on livebaits or poppers, and the bank we were fishing was absolutely stuffed full of fish, with loads of Snapper, Grouper and Rainbow Runners providing plenty of sport in between the hard fighting Tuna. The weather was perfect, and there was barely anyone else out on the water.

Day three and we decided to fish inshore and target the Cubara's properly, in the end we landed 9 fish up to 60lb. Like always in these fish rich waters Mullet Snapper, Rock Snapper, Sharks & Rainbow Runners all took interest in our poppers and livebaits, which made for a great day of sport and a brilliant mixed bag of fish.

Day four, and again we were inshore, the weather wasn't great so we thought we should stay close in just to be sure. No big Cubara's but plenty of smaller ones, again like the previous day we were also greeted with loads of different species. All in all another fantastic day in paradise!

Please find attached a couple of pictures of Tuna we caught at the start of the week!

Tight Lines, D.P.
