Dave Plummer Gives Us His Latest Fishing Report From Florida!

blog story: Dave Plummer Gives Us His Latest Fishing Report From Florida!
Just another quick update for you all, the fishing has been very hard work, as I mentioned in my previous report, the strong gusting wind, made things very difficult. The weather seems to have changed now though, with the wind dropping right off, so fingers crossed thing should get a little easier.

Yesterday we were up at 4am and out on the water for half past. Like the previous days, we were again in to fish, and again these were big fish! Fishing with crab baits, Dan was first in, landing a cracking Tarpon of 160lb, Paul then followed with another fish over 150lb, this time at 155lb and again taken on a crab bait.

Between them they also lost 3 good fish, which is common when fishing for Tarpon, there hard bony mouths can be very difficult to penetrate and to get a decent hook hold.

As well as tarpon the guys also landed a few other species, with some small sharks and rays making an appearance. John had the biggest of these a brilliant Stingray estimated at around the 80lb mark.

Looking good for the coming days, with the weather improving, we could be set for some real crazy action!

Tight Line D.P
