Apologies that we haven't reported sooner! Last time you heard from us, we reported that the start of Danny Ashley-Gordons week had started nicely with plenty of fish, well the end part of the week was no different...
Wednesday started well, with the strong winds easing throughout the day we decided to head up the back country and see if we could connect with some real monsters! It proved to be the right move, with an hour Dan was hooked into a huge Shark of 250lb. Clive was also in on the action with Sharks to just under 100lb, he also managed to land a cracking stingray which was just over the 100lb mark.
As well as the hard fighting sharks the pair enjoyed some great light tackle sport using jigs, catching lots of trout and lady fish.
After the great fishing on Wednesday, we headed to the back country the following day (Thursday) and again enjoyed some great sport. Dan had Bull sharks up to 120lb and Clive a huge Nurse Shark of 250lb. Again sport on the jigs was fast and furious, like the previous day the Trout and Lady fish were on the feed, as well as numerous Jacks & Snapper. All in all great fun.
The weather looks good for tommorrow so we're going to head out and try for some Tarpon.
