Dave Plummer Florida Update 10th June
Hi sorry its been a couple of days since posting, just been up to it with the London lads, Everyone having a great time, however we have lost lots of fish. (It takes some getting used to for anglers not to strike the rods when fishing with circle hooks, they will learn)
Over the last couple of days we have had quite a few Tarpon and everything was going ok until Dave dropped Eddie’s camcorder over the side of the boat…….opppsssss you could of heard a pin drop on the boat as the look on everyone face watching it sink deeper and deeper in the clear sea.
So this morning we decided to try a change and take the lads out back country fishing, Eddie was off with a great big Lemon shark of around 275lb, he was so pleased until I said that would of looked good on the video…… Dave not to be outdone was next up with another Lemon shark of around 225lb… just think 2 big sharks to show everyone at home, but where is the video camera? Oh yes at the bottom of the sea……
We had a great day also fishing light spinning rods with small jigs, ladyfish and loads of Jacks.
Last day tomorrow lets hope we can get the boys back in to some Tarpon that they can set the hooks on.
PS the oil is 0ver 600 miles away with a south east wind just pushing it even further away from us.
Regards oil free Dave Plummer
