Dave Plummer, Back From Panama, Straight To Florida!

blog story: Dave Plummer, Back From Panama, Straight To Florida!
After my two fantastic weeks guiding in Panama, it was time to head back home, well my second home, to our house in the Florda Keys! There was no time for rest as our first customers were arriving and ready to head out fishing.

For Rob and Peter it was there first time out on the keys and it didn’t disappoint! Even though they only landed one Tarpon of 50lb, they were left shell shocked by another 12 explosive takes and unfortunately 12 hook pulls! I told them this is a regular occurance, as the way the Tarpon fight in such a acrobatic way, makes it easy for the them to throw the hooks. There bony mouths also sometimes make it difficult to obtain a good hookhold, which only adds to the frustration!

However days like this make you even keener to get out and fish harder the next day, which rest assured is what we will do! Those Tarpon better watch out!

Until tomorrow… Dave
