Located on Cuba’s north coast, in the Provinces of Ciego del Avila and Camaguey, lies this vast and until now virginal archipelago of islands and cays which provide some of the best and most varied fishing in the whole of Cuba.

Come Join Jack Simpson on the Isle of Youth, which lays 100km off the coast of mainland Cuba. It is a large island, 2200 sq. km, about fifty miles across, and somewhat round in shape. The area we fish is gigantic, seventy-five miles of flats from the Northern side of the Isle of Youth that runs all the way to Cayo Largo on the eastern end.

This is flat's fishing far beyond your wildest dreams! The Isle of Youth lays 100km off the coast of mainland Cuba, nearly straight south of Havana. It is a large island, 2200 sq. km, about fifty miles across, and somewhat round in shape. The area we fish is gigantic, an area seventy-five miles of saltwater flats that had not been sport fished for over fifty years until we opened our operation in 2006. You can choose to stay at either our hotel or the luxury of our live aboard yacht and your own private fishing safari.

With our Cuba partners, we now have access to the exclusive fishing rights on the designated Cayo Largo Natural Reserve, which encompasses some 140 square miles of saltwater flats and channels. An angler’s paradise in the middle of stunning saltwater flats, the area we fish is approximately 2600 square miles, a vast offshore wilderness, where you will rarely see another angler, other than people in your own group. We have many options while out at Jardines de la Renia, First there’s our permanently moored accommodation which is now world famous the Tortuga and then for those with a little bit of more of a adventure there’s the real Cuba safari, as for your main accommodation is one of three live aboard boats, the Halcon, Caballones and La Reina. The advantage of these safaris is that while you are fishing your mother ship will move to a completely new area, allowing you to fish water that is even more virginal.
