The fishing in February on South Andros is a little like the weather…up and down. February is a transition month from winter-type weather patterns to spring-type weather patterns. During February, South Andros will experience alternating days of low winds and bright skies to higher winds and overcast skies. By the end of February we have more nice days than blustery days.

WALKING / SIGHTSEEING
In many parts of Spain, particularly Andalucia in the south, walking holidays are combined with other activities such as yoga, painting and Spanish culture (flamenco, Spanish cooking and language lessons might be provided along with daily guided walks).
FLAMENCO DANCING
Flamenco is the traditional song and dance of the Gypsies (flamencos) of Andalusia. Its history can be traced over several centuries from Gypsy, Moorish, Andalucian, and other roots. Its evolution is a source of great debate with no accepted explanation of how flamenco resulted from the cultural influences of such diverse regions as North Africa, Southern Europe and the near and Far East. Flamenco has never been more popular in Spain and abroad than it is today with a new generation of new flamenco performers in the post-Franco era who have broadened flamenco's appeal to an international audience, so why not visit and have a go?
