Giant Mekong Catfish Fishing Thailand

Bung Sam Lan, just outside Bangkok, is one of the most extraordinary and famous fisheries in the world. It is a lake of about twenty acres and was converted seventeen years ago from a swamp. It is stocked with a huge variety of native Thai and imported fish: Giant Mekong Catfish to 100 kg, Striped Catfish to 15 kg, Chaophraya Giant Catfish to 30 kg, Giant Siamese Carp to 100 kg and Amazonian Arapaima from to 200 kg.
