Big Game Fishing Hemingways Kenya

Like the tranquil fish rich waters of the Indian Ocean, our dedication to complete excellence in partnership with Hemingways washes over you in an unbreaking wave of care and sophistication. Kenya is a great place to combine a tropical holiday with big game fishing and perhaps a safari. The climate is fabulous, the people friendly and accommodating and the country itself is diverse and beautiful.

On average, the fishing boats land or tag between 50 & 200 kg of fish per day. When the Sailfish are running well, a good day would be half a dozen or more sails between 25 and 40 kg. A dozen or more would be a red-letter day! In peak Marlin season, two or three stripes is a very nice catch, whilst a decent black or blue a day would keep most of us happy (fish of 400-600 lb are not uncommon). In reality, most days will include a number of different species. We have a very simple ethos with regards to quality, only the best will do. This applies to the boats, their equipment and tackle and to the skipper and crew. Hemingways is on Turtle Bay, a five mile stretch of pristine sandy beach with just 4 hotels. This is in contrast to the major tourist regions of Mombassa and Diani Beach where dozens of hotels line the coast.
