It will come as no surprise to a lot of people that Angling Direct Holidays in the New Year will be launching a range of shooting holidays to our existing wide range of fishing destinations.
Many of our existing customers both shoot and fish and we have been requested over the last few years why we do not offer both. It was only a matter of time and considering that those who know me I am as passionate about my shooting as my fishing.
I have only just recently returned from some research trips looking at various destinations and on one trip was accompanied with some good friends and customers. What we found was some unbelievable shooting, so much so we had to pace ourselves as we could have shot 4 times as many as we did. At one of the new locations in Cordoba in just 2 full days and one half day we managed to shoot 23,225 shells for 16,069 birds a great 69% hit average. Mind you I have to confess on the last half day I did bring the averages down as in order to make some great promotional DVD’S to show you what this shooting is all about I spent 4 hours with a camera mounted on the top of my gun. Having a great lump in my line of site did not help my hit ratio. Well that’s my excuse and after all we can also edit out all the missed shots...would I?!
