This week has seen yet another superb week of fishing on the Skeena. Our group of anglers have had excellent fishing all week. They have had numerous double and triple headers every day. Long time client Marcus Ervine managed to catch all five species of Salmon(King, Coho, Chum, Sockeye and Pink) along with Steehead, Dolly Varden and whitefish.
Marcus' biggest fish was a 35lb fresh silver King Salmon. Thomas Berthausen, who was returning for the third time averaged 2 Steelhead per day landed, together with large variety of salmon over the last 8 days.
Our other long time client Gerald Gumpert in addition to catching numerous Steelhead and salmon on the river, managed to boat a 130lb halibut on a one day trip to the ocean. Marcus, Troy Adams and Thomas have all landed Steelhead everyday and been in the double figures for salmon on most days.
