Another 2 Fish Over 30lb! Read Dave Plummers India Blog...

blog story: Another 2 Fish Over 30lb! Read Dave Plummers India Blog...
Just another quick update! After my report yesterday, we carried on fishing into the evening with a few more mid doubles to keep everyone entertained, then right on last knockings Trev Dale hooked and landed one just over 31lb, what away to sign off for the evening! That fish was the 12th fish of the trip over 30lb. That includes 4 fish over 40lb, 1 fish over 60lb and of course that cracking Golden Masheer over 30lb.

After a few night caps to celebrate an enjoyable day we all retired to bed around 12 o clock, as soon as my head hit the pillow I was off, dreaming of all those monster Mahseer I hoped we see again the next day! 6.30 in the morning and my usual wake up call arrived, ‘tea or coffee sir, tea or coffee’ the camp staff were up already and preparing for another day. Everyone was eager to fish and within an hour or so the Ragi baits were having there first soak of the day, and to say action was immediate would be an understatement! As Steve Jaques, who opted to fish camp pool, was in once again, landing another fish over 30lb, weighing in a few ounces over 37lb, what a start to the day!

Had some nice news as well, with people already keen to book for dates in 2013! Which I think is an excellent testament to the river, the camp, the fishing, and overall how much people enjoy themselves when here. With only a few spaces left for next years trip and places for 2013 being reserved already it looks like the next two years will also be sell outs!

Anyway time for lunch now! Will be in touch again soon…

Cheers DP
