After A Long Productive Season The Fishing Draws To A Close In Northern Norway...

blog story: After A Long Productive Season The Fishing Draws To A Close In Northern Norway...
After a long productive season the fishing draws to a close in Northern Norway. Our lodges in Soroya and Havoysund have already closed there doors for another year, and in Tromso they only have one week of fishing left...

As the penultimate guests finished this last week, we recived a little report and a few pictures from there week. The lodge and guide report with the weather being poor, fishing was quite difficult, alot of wind and rain battered the lodge, however the group were still able to get out and catch a few fish. They had many nice Halibut with the average size being between 10-20kg, the biggest topping 55kg.

The last guests arrived on the 12th for one week, and this is the last of the year, until the seasons start again with our first trip at the end of March to Sorroya.

Anyway, here's a few pictures below (apologies for the colour on some of them, they were very dark, so we messed around with the brightness!).

They Had A Little Visitor On One Of The Boats!
