A Nice Steelhead For Our Guide On The Kalum River...

Here is a photo of a nice Steelhead I landed yesterday just a 5 minute walk from the lodge. I caught this beauty after only a few casts. Kalum River is full of Steelhead at this time of year. On the warm days nothing beats a walk along the river catching Steelhead and Char.

We plan to do an ice fishing trip to the interior of B.C. for Burbot, big Char and Brook trout next month.One of our regular clients has kindly offered to show us his local fishing spots. I will let you know how we do. Fresh snow last night so we are on our way up to the ski hill.
