33 miles off shore, Clear Skies, Calm Sea's & Sailfish Galore!

blog story: 33 miles off shore, Clear Skies, Calm Sea's & Sailfish Galore!
As we reported on Monday Angling Direct Holidays customer Mr.Pearle is currently out in Guatemala enjoying some of the sailfish sport that the country has to offer. We got another little update from the lodge yesterday, reporting how he fared on Tuesday! This is what they had to say:

Yesterday we had 33 Sailfish strikes, we landed and released 19 of these fish, we also landed 4 Dorado. Fishing 33 miles off shore, with clear skies and calm seas, it really was a fantastic day! The fishing has been explosive! Fingers crossed it carries on for the rest of Mr Pearles trip!

Hello Richard, we havent actually heard anymore from the lodge! We tried to call them yesterday, but we couldnt get though to them, perhaps they were busy catching too many fish! As soon as we hear anything we will be sure to post it on the blog! Guatemala does seem to be some Sailfish destination! I believe you can catch them on the fly as well, I bet thats some explosive fishing! Have you fished for Sailfish before...?
